Absolutely Games and publisher Secret Mode have announced that their cosy spooky kingdom builder Fangtopia will launch on 26th October. That’s just a few days before Halloween, which makes sense, right?
Absolutely Games has created Fangtopia with the specific intention of being both stress-free and scare-free, despite being filled with spooky themes and horrible monsters. This kingdom building puzzler tasks you with placing hex tiles and building out a kingdom that’s as large as possible, completing tasks and combining ever-larger palettes of the same tile to ramp up your score, summon scarecrows, giants, werewolves and more, and then unlock a portal to the next realm.
It’s a pretty chill time, but there’s also multiple game modes that will adapt the game in a few different ways such as with island mode emphasising the need to connect a growing set of little islands with the hex tiles and train tracks that you can place.
So, for something to keep your mind occupied while waiting for the next batch of trick or treaters to politely menace you for sweeties this Halloween, keep an eye on Fangtopia, which is coming to PC, PS5 and Switch 2 on 26th October.
