Usually detectives are the ones trying to find answers to mysteries not becoming the mystery themselves, but that is not the case in Dark Alley. It seems British detective Edward Hale has gone missing in Kyoto, which means Detective Thomas Bennet has been sent to find him. It won’t be an easy case to crack though with all sorts of characters that have their own motivations which could hinder or help the case.
Dark Alley is a narrative noir thriller in which you have to explore the streets of Kyoto across the different districts including Gion and the more modern areas. The case will take Bennett through the old streets of the city to the clubs and the underground criminal world. Along this case, Bennett will meet different people and questioning them for information will shed light on what has happened to Edward Hale. There are scenes to explore too where you look for clues in an effort to uncover answers, though some clues will just lead to more questions.
Dark Alley will be releasing on November 5th for PC, PS5, Switch and Xbox Series XS.
