LBP2 Grappling Hook Trailer

A new trailer for the utterly fabulous LittleBig Planet 2 has arrived and it features a Tarzan-esque level and the grappling hook. The video shows the obvious use for the new device along with a couple of uses you may not have thought of.

The grappling hook is one the new features of LittleBig Planet 2 along with the Creatinator hat and my personal favourite, bounce pads. The title arrives – barring any last minute music-related cock ups – this November.

  2. I only bought lbp a couple of months ago but I’ve enjoyed playing it with friends. My sisters had it since day 1 and I never even touched it until then :S
    anyway, looking forward to this but it won’t be a day one (probably), same as GT5 (probably), as I’m a bit short on funds atm. I’ll be sure to get it though :)

    This game seems very good indeed. I just wish Sony had a more platform (with puzzler elements) game than this. Not that I didn’t like the community-stuff of the original, but I played it for the platforming storymode.

    I am deliberately waiting until Christmas to get it though, I want there to be a few online levels worth playing available when I get it..

  6. There were so many ingenious levels in LBP, i can’t wait to see the results with LBP2!

  9. My son’s started saving his pocket money already. He’s crazy about LBP, had the original since day one and when I got back from swimming this morning he was playing it again. Yep, he’s bonkers about LBP.

  10. Really nice. Loved the use of a grappling hook to pull the platform across the river, clever stuff.
