EA has released a new video for its upcoming game ‘Dead Space 2.’ In it we get more details on the changes Visceral Games has made to protagonist Isaac Clarke. During our hands on with the game we described it as looking ‘simply stunning’, which is high praise indeed

I quite liked that he didn’t speak in the first game. It added to the creepiness. I pray he isn’t going to be some kind of macho space marine now. Pleeeeease no!

The way he didn’t talk really added to the feeling of isolation for me. And the fact he wasn’t a space marine or what have you, and he was only using the tools of his trade were what was appealing for me. I’m trusting they’ll make a good game, just hope they stick to their roots.

I’m hoping they haven’t changed Dead Space into an action-shooter, from the survival-horror. Because Dead Space made me crap my pants, this one looks doesn’t look that scary.

It’s a free exclusive on PS3. I think it might be labelled as Limited or Special edition on PS3 but that it will be the “standard” edition available to buy.
