More Artwork From Midway’s Cancelled ‘Hero’

Last week we revealed a piece of concept art from the now cancelled game “Hero” which was to be published by the now defunct Midway. SiliconEra have been digging around and discovered some more concept artwork.

Artist Tae young Choi painted a series of pictures featuring the titular hero using his powers and includes a rather dramatic battle on the wing of a crashing jet plane.  It does look rather good, although it does remind me of a less-grimy version of inFAMOUS.

  1. Looks like there was some very interesting ideas going around for this game. Wonder where it was in the production line before being canned.

Also, is that not Air Force One?

    • You might be right there! might of been a good level.shame

  2. some of the artwork reminds me of inFamous

    • Caught between inFAMOUS & PROTOTYPE for me

    • Looks like you could control all the elements though, not just electricity. Looks pretty epic at points, concept art is very different to the finished article though!

  3. From the looks of things, that could have been awesome! Shame it got canned really.

  4. That definitely looks like it could’ve been great. Very inFAMOUS/Prototype, though I suppose that’s difficult to avoid.

  5. It looks quite good. It’s a shame it won’t be made now.
