Battlefield 3 Teaser Leaked?

It appears the teaser trailer for Battlefield 3 has been leaked early and posted up on YouTube with the words “released too soon by EA Russia” written underneath. It is the briefest of teasers, although it does confirm an autumn release.

We will update this if any additional information becomes available.

  1. I am 110% stoked for Battlefield 3, but that teaser defines underwhelming. I know that’s pretty much all a teaser really is, but man, they really gave us nothing there.

    Here’s hoping we get something a little more substantial later on today.

    • Me too, really looking forward to this, I hope they release some more footage or info soon!

    • For a teaser it gives away at least something; there will be jets! Hence, huge terrain (BF2 huge) combat!

      • A teaser isn’t supposed to give you anything…it’s supposed to tease and let you know that the project is coming, so pretty successful as far as I’m concerned, roll on the release trailer ;)

  2. To be fair it’s was only a teaser, though for a BF game I expected something a little more robust.

  3. Never played BF 1 or 2. Will get round to them though as herd really good things about them.

    • This isn’t the next in the Battlefield Bad Company series (BFBC 1 and 2), this is Battlefield 3. BF2 was only on PC, and there was no BF1 (BF2 was more or less the official version of the incredibly popular mod for BF1942 known as Desert Combat).

      Confused yet?

      I’ve played every BF title ever made (except the Xbox one), when I log into BFBC 2 is says Veteran 11 :)

      BF 3 will be awe – to the – some. It may even get me back to PC gaming for a while. Naaaaahhhhh.

    • not too sure on prone at all, this could be a massive face palm to all current BF players. I know EA want the COD hardcore to come over, but this it way too much.

      • you used to be able to go prone in battlefield games, but because of a glitch people exploited Dice removed it, instead of just fixing it. I believe people called the glitch “dolphin diving”.

  7. Battlefield is a must buy for me, really prefer this series over Call of Duty

    • I prefer being punched in the face over playing Call of Duty…

  8. So long as it isn’t walk 1 mile to the action and then get shot by a sniper, rinse and repeat. It will be amazing.

    I know it’s only a teaser, but it’s sticking with the themes and connotations behind the way BF2 is presented.

      Looks good, 64 player, and even the boxshots place the PC version in the middle, good marketing there ;)
