Just Add Water have just sent over three screenshots of the PlayStation 3 version of Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath.
Whilst possibly not the best shots the guys could have chosen (there’s some gorgeous bits further on) they do go some way to show off the upgraded visuals and much improved character definition.
We’ve played Stranger’s Wrath on PS3, and it’s a cracker. Fans of the original will love the boosted graphics and those new to the game will find a lovely blend of first person shooter and third person adventure.
We’ll have the hands-on up on TSA as soon as possible.

I think it looks fine given that it’s a HD make-over of an old game. I played a little bit of it on xbox and although i liked the world and main character and the way you used critters as special ammo something about the game didn’t make it through my ‘toler-o-meter’ at the time so i moved on to something else. If there’s a demo i’ll have to check it out to remind myself why exactly i didn’t enjoy it! :)

Can’t wait to get my hands on the Oddworld HD Pack. Abe’s Oddyssey and Exodus are still in my all time favorite list. Never got the chance to play Stranger’s Wrath so this will be a first for me and I’m looking forward to it.
