Darksiders is a game (obviously) in which you play War, one of the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse. Chances are, you’re going to have to fight something in a violent fashion, an activity that will almost certainly be followed by its death. Interested? Yes – me too. Here, have a trailer, based on Ruin.
Presumably very fight-y. Swords, guns, a lovely horse, what is there to dislike? If you enjoy fighting things with swords and guns, you’re probably going to enjoy this, provided Vigil Games don’t screw it up somehow.
Fun fact: Joe Madureira, the game’s designer, whilst in the face of comparisons to God of War and Devil May Cry, likened Darksiders to The Legend of Zelda. Honest. I don’t even know what to make of that.
