It was late January and the rain was persistent. I was cold. Real cold. News on L.A Noire was minimal and the gang known as ‘Rockstar’ were being quiet. Too quiet. But then there was a breakthrough.
I’ll snap out of 1940’s detective talk to tell you Rockstar have announced that February will see some “in-depth” information regarding the Team Bondi-developed L.A Noire. They held a Q&A via their website and when asked about the game’s progress, they responded by saying:
There will be something great to see soon – a proper in-depth look at the game and why it is so ground breaking and innovative, both in terms of the game’s design and the amazing new technology to support it. Expect to see a long-awaited reveal via a big cover story next month.
Team Bondi are currently looking for animators to “cope with the final production phase of L.A. Noire” so expect next month’s announcement to be the first of many more.
If you haven’t heard about L.A Noire then don’t worry; afterall there appears to be more evidence of WMDs than there is of the game’s existence. It’s a detective game set in the late 1940’s and Rockstar promise “action, detection and complex storytelling”.
We’ll bring you the news as soon as it hits. For now, why not enjoy the official trailer…
