Insomniac, the evergreen developers behind Sony hits like the Ratchet and Clank and Resistance series, are apparently currently working on Xbox 360 stuff in addition to PS3 material. Yes, that means multiformat.
Fortunately for die-hard Sony fans, the information is less than concrete, with IGN reporting that the news was “overheard at GDC” and relayed to the site via “a trusted source under the condition of anonymity.”
However, as it stands Insomniac have been an independent studio for as long as I can remember – they might have been working on PS3 stuff recently but there’s no exclusive deal in place, so they’re free to work with whoever.
Insomniac’s Ted Price wisely refused to comment.
