Earlier on today we got the confirmation that CAPCOM’s Final Fight: Double impact will be appearing in this week’s (barring any last minute hitches) PSN/XLBA updates. As you may know, this is the retro release of the classic arcade titles Final Fight and Magic Sword in one package.
To accompany the release announcement, CAPCOM have showed off the retro action with a range of screenies from both titles. In them you can see the different mechanisms at work which avoid unsightly pixel-stretching on the modern consoles, from full-screen view with smoothing or a centred view with the arcade cabinet surround. Regardless of how you choose to view the game, the game features both online and local co-op modes.
