We all knew it was coming, it’s the worst kept secret in gaming since, well, everything. Regardless, below is the new teaser trailer for Epic’s upcoming Gears of War 3 game, titled Ashes to Ashes. Sadly, it isn’t set in the 80’s and doesn’t contain Gene Hunt running around with a big gun shooting bugs, but it does contain lots of moody black and white slow-mo action and one hell of a beard.
Had to do a wee bit of digging to get the right video, you were almost subjected to two minutes of American ‘comedy’ with Johnny Falcon, or whatever he’s called. Thankfully, the video above is just Gears of War 3 so there’s no reason to panic. And, as the Xbox Live leak revealed, the next game in the rather groovy series of third person blasters is set to be released in April 2011, literally twelve months away.
