“Nail’d wants to be the fastest off-road racer ever made”, says Destructoid of Deep Silver’s new ATV game. Apparently it’s a mix of Tony Hawk and Burnout, which sounds like pretty much the best game ever made. Sure, it’s not as pretty as Pure but this is Nail’d at its early, pre-alpha stage and thus we’ve got high hopes that things will turn around before we get to see it properly at E3.
The tracks are single races, no loops, and are filled with obstacles to slow you down. Developer TechLand say that the aim is to simply get to the end as quickly as possible, but as the preview says, “there were rock slides, giant buzz saws and a jump that saw you sailing through a wind turbine. In one section, a 747 jet lands in front of you.” Sounds precisely like the sort of game I love.
