Game Informer have unveiled the sequel to Sucker Punch’s super-charged inFamous by way of a media blowout inside their July issue.
Of course, this is hardly earth-shattering news; especially since we’ve been hearing wind of inFamous 2 since pretty much the release of the first game. From voice-actors unable to keep their traps shut, to Portuguese magazines plastering ominous eyes at the back of their publications, everyone and their electric cat knew this was coming.
The July edition of the magazine features a ten-page spread all about the new sandbox game. Cole is back, this time sporting a variation of his usual Justin Timberlake look (out goes Cry Me A River Justin, in comes a scruffier Rock Your Body rendition). We’re also promised a new city, new enemies and, shock horror, new powers for the galvanic courier turned human power-station.
What doesn’t seem to have changed, however, is Cole’s awkward bolt-throwing stance. Just look at that cover. It still looks like he’s trying to frighten a small child. Oooh, you’re scared of the claw. No, not really.
