Ubisoft has confirmed that a HAWX 2 demowill arrive on 16th August for Xbox Live and 18th August for PSN. The demo will be comprised of two single-player missions;
“Interception Course
Take to the air as a Russian pilot sent to intercept a group of stolen aircraft high above the Caucasus Mountains, a hot spot on the world conflict radar, you will be playing a Russian pilot in this mission part of the new multinational cinematic story narrative in H.A.W.X. 2.Seek and Destroy
Playing from the perspective of the elite U.S. H.A.W.X. squadron deployed to settle conflict spilling over in Africa, you are tasked with taking out specific targets with smart ammunition at night. Take off from a carrier under the cover of night and strike against a weapon smuggling operation using precision guided laser bombs.”
Hopefully Ubisoft has listened to the criticisms levelled at the first game, and H.A.W.X 2 will be cracking.

With the combination of HAWX 2 and then Ace combat being announced the other day, I almost let out a little sex wee!
Will be downloading this from my US account tomorrow to get it that one day earlier! By the sounds of the second mission, there’s also take off and landing this time which weren’t in the first as far as I can remember. (Although my memory is bad so I probably have that wrong!)
I’m usually crap at online gaming, but I used to win 90%+ of all online games I played in this – and I mean I came top of the scoreboard, not just on the winning team.
