Wondering where the hell Maverick got to when the Store updated yesterday? Well, it looks like the diminutive daredevil was busy getting his oil on down by the volleyball court as Top Gun was a complete no-show. Never fear, Goose-lovers, we’ve just got word that you can expect a gratuitous flyby when Top Gun launches next week, September 8th. Which just so happens to be the same week as HAWX 2. It looks like Maverick’s reputation for being a nut-job risk-taker continues.
We got our hands on Top Gun back in July and we liked it. Expect a review soon.

If this had come out this week I’d have bought it. Since I’m getting HAWX 2 the day after it’ll appear on the store, I’ll now be waiting until it’s either discounted or free through PSN+.
