Yesterday evening we reported that the developers of the new Mortal Kombat game had confirmed the existence of the PSP2. Executive Producer Shaun Himmerick announced they had the mythical device and were investigating its power.
This morning Sony have responded to Mr. Himmericks’s faux pas. Just to make things interesting I’ll let you guess which comment SCE made. Was it:
- “It’s a fair cop guvnor. PSP2 is real and all the major developers have got the hardware and are busy making loads of new games. That Shaun bloke is a bit of a scallywag eh? I’ll give him a friendly punch on the arm next time I see him down the pub, gawd love him. Anyway, can I interest you in a PSPGo? Guess we should rename ’em PSPNotGoingAnywhereNow eh? Heh. I’ll give you ten of them and four free games if you buy us a packet of crisps. Deal?”
- “We haven’t announced any news on PSP.”

IF they announced it sales of PSPGo and PSP3000 would nose dive – so they don’t. Its got nothing to do with Sony being chidish.

not if it aint out for a year or two besides i held off getting a psp for a psp2 long before it was even mentioned
Anyhoo the cat is out of the bag now anyway and a wink wink nudge nudge from sony is sorta needed because no comments and whatnot now is just plain silly. we all knew it was coming AGES ago besides can the PSPgo’s sales get any lower
