You may remember a while ago I went a little bit crazy for a Nintendo WiiWare game called Bit.Trip Runner. Its addictive gameplay and wonderful chip-tune inspired soundtrack grabbed me and refused to let go. Well the good news is I conquered my addiction, but the bad news is the next instalment in the franchise – Bit.Trip Fate – has been given a US date of October 25th. Gaijin Games has said they hope to have an EU date soon.
Where Runner is a rhythm platformer, Fate is a side scrolling shooter; although it will still retain the chip-tune soundtrack and harsh difficulty. Oddly enough there will be a cameo appearance from Super Meat Boy.
