This week sees the launch of GoldenEye 007 for the Nintendo Wii. In fact, the lucky blighters in North America can get their hands on it today. Activision has released a final trailer for the game, showing an impressive amount of variety.

How come if it’s an activation game they’ve only done it for the wii?? Surely it will sell more on the hd consoles, despite the lower installed user bases??

I played a good two hours of 4-way multiplayer at last weekend’s MCM Expo in London, and it is every bit as fun as it looks: a ridiculous, unbalanced romp with going on a hundred characters and some perfectly sized, classic maps. I have a bad feeling about the campaign, and how that could hinder sales, but it’s a future Wii staple alongside Brawl and Mario Kart for sure.

Incidentally, my friend said there was a little lag on 4p split screen, but I honestly didn’t notice. Frantic stuff.
