New Ghostbusters Game Heading To PSN/LIVE

I really wanted to like the last Ghostbusters game, but despite some quality writing the actual gameplay was a bit dull.  I’m still pleased to hear that a new game is in the works, and this time it’s heading to PSN/LIVE.  Titled ‘Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime’, the game seems to have taken a leaf out of Lara Croft’s book with its isometric viewpoint.  We are promised four player online or local co-op, gigantic bosses and the usual suspects in terms of the Ghostbuster arsenal.

Unfortunately none of the actors who appeared in the films are set to appear, but you will get to take control of the Ecto-4WD.

  1. GHOSTBUSTERS! sorry couldn’t resist.
As long as the controls are good and there is a demo i might give it a go.

  2. I really like the last Ghostbusters game, the campaign is “Ghostbusters 3” and the multiplayer is great fun with a good co-op partner :)
This new game looks good so far. It’s a bit disappointing that none of the original cast will appear, but as long as they don’t bring the movie characters with other voice actors, it’s ok, we won’t have to fear total protonic reversal.

  3. Luigi’s Mansion anyone?!

  4. man that’s pretty cool looks like a fun game!
