PSN Beats XBL At Red Dead Challenge

Last month Rockstar instigated a challenge to its PSN and XBL playerbase.

The first online community to reach a certain XP quota would win, unlocking gear for either your avatar or PlayStation Home character, depending which console you own (if not both).

Though thought to be the underdogs of the competition, the PSN community have come out in first place as officially stated via Rockstar’s official Twitter feed and social club tracking page:

PSN players have officially hit 100% in the Red Dead Redemption XP Challenge – XBL players not far away @ 94%,

Let the fanboy tantrums begin…

    • yeh i know. i went on there the other day and couldn’t believe how childish/annoying all the comments were. that’s why i love TSA so much

    • If you are referring to the sub-heading, it’s a joke of course ;) Though I personally play my PS3 a hell of a lot more than my 360, I never feel the need to compare them.

  3. I support both systems, but its nice to see PSN coming out on top. Red Dead Redemption is a superbly produced title, one that I enjoyed both online and off. A big well done to PSN, fabulous work.

  4. still not bought this, was gona get it on 360 but held out becuase i was thinking of selling it, which i now have so might have to pick itup on ps3 sometime

  9. Great game and loved playing it until I couldn’t be bothered to rank up to top level for the trophy or the FFA games trophy! =/ Nice to hear that PS3 won, and a little healthy competition is good! Good contest Rockstar!

    I am glad that TSA is fanboy free. Is it wrong that i’m a TSA fanboy.:D i personally thought that the 360 crowd would just beat the PS3 crowd by 1%. Last time i played RDR it was full of campers.:(

      • PS3, but that was a few months back so the online could have changed by now.

      • It has; they now hunt down newbies as a posse, according to my friend.
