Katsuhiro Harada, producer of the Tekken series, released four new Tekken Tag 2 screenshots today via twitter. The new screenshots don’t reveal much, but they do show off the game’s impressive visuals.
Last month, it was revealed that every character from Tekken 6 will be making their return as playable characters in Tekken Tag. Jinpachi, the final boss from Tekken 5, will also make his return. Based on his appearance, it doesn’t look like Jinpachi will be possessed this time around.
Oddly enough, you’ll notice that Heihachi Mishima somehow managed to reclaim his youth and now sports a full head of hair. According to Harada-san, the voice of Heihachi will also be different. This is most likely due to the passing of Gouri Daisuke, the character’s previous voice actor.
Oh, and the female luchador getting fisted by Law and Paul is Jaycee. Not much is known about her, although there is speculation from the community that she is really Julia Chang.

I’m personally hoping for Tekken Ball to return. When I went to Midwest Championships last year it was a bonus game being played. It generated quite a crowd lol.
They even did a Tekken Ball Tournament before XD

Tekken. ah that takes me back. 2 and 3 were classics. Never played any others exept for one on PSP but it sucked ass.

Tekken Tag was my favourite of all the Tekken games. The tagging element was a great addition and having such a huge roster of characters was brilliant. I am looking forward to this.

Dear Japan,
Not all gamers are 13 year old boys, it’s ok to have female characters that are fully clothed, have smaller boobs or, god forbid, aren’t that attractive.
These kinds of game are why a lot of people, especially women, think games are a bit immature.

Tekken 6 was awful in my opinion. The game and main story relied on the scenario campaign, which was awful to say the least. Tekken 3 is the best tekken by far, and will remain unbeaten in the tekken franchise for a long time. I enjoyed Tekken tag though, so i will probably still end up getting this :(
