Final Fantasy IV Complete Collection Dated for EU

Announced on the Square Enix Members site today, Final Fantasy IV Complete Collection is set for exclusive release on the PSP in Europe on April 22nd. The collection comprises of Final Fantasy IV and its follow up, The After Years, with a newly created event seamlessly bridging the two. The disc also features CGI movies and illustrations by famed artists such as Yoshitaka Amano.

There’s also a Special Edition planned, with dedicated/rabid fans of the evergreen series able to declare their FF allegiance by picking up exclusive in-pack items. These include high quality Art Cards from both titles and a screen-cleaning cloth decorated with an image of Cecil. The pack also offers special DLC for use in Dissidia 012[duodecim] Final Fantasy, details of which will be unveiled at a later date.

Check out what the Special Edition will look like as it stares back from game shelves, begging you to take up the role of dark knight Cecil once again.

And here’s the accompanying trailer.

  1. Do want.

  2. Never played Final Fantasy 4. I think I’ll have to check this out. Especially if it has some DLC for Dissidia, probably costumes like The 3rd Birthday.

  3. Excited but cautious. Let’s hope it’s on PSN or else I’m not buying. If it’s not gonna work on the NGP then no.

    • Yeah I’ve still yet to play the new Kingdom Hearts.

    • I’ve asked and there is no further announcement about a PSN version at this time.

      • Then Square have missed yet more sales from me…

      • They can’t be serious. If that doesn’t come, i’ll miss it much more than Kingdom Hearts!

  4. Looks alot like the Dissidia 2 Special Edition

  5. I want this for the bloody PS3 not the PSP lol

  6. Very swish…just like my copy of FFVII: Crisis Core!
