Strap yourself in, we’ve got the first in-game footage for Battlefield 3 ready for your viewing pleasure. Below is a 3 minute video of the single player mission that was demoed behind closed doors to select members of the gaming press a few weeks ago. DICE have finally released it to the public and it looks absolutely astonishing.
They promised an almost generational leap in the graphics department and based on this video, I can see why they were so confident. Pay close attention to the lighting and the soldier’s animations, as they’re both particularly impressive.

It’s a shame this won’t beat Call of Duty, it looks stunning. I cannot believe the changes they’ve made in graphics, what a stupendous improvement. Apart from Resistance and Rainbow Six, Battlefield is the only FPS I’ve ever really enjoyed, and this one is, evidently, going to blow me away!

that was stunning, the motion on the characters were unbelievable and sounds of the rifles firing were excellent.

At first i thought it would be a generic shooter but this has a lot of potential. I wonder if the console version will be just like the pc version only with lesser grahpics? I hope we can fly planes in this because i want to divebomb some TSA members and CB.:P
