New SBK 2011 Screenshots

The latest batch of SBK 2011 screens show off the game’s improved visuals and updated Superbike liveries. The game will include every class, rider, and track from the 2011 World Superbike Championship season when it launches in May. In addition to improving the game’s engine and visuals, the interface has also been revamped and should be more user friendly.

Check out the 20 new screenshots below.

  1. Wow, I have to say the graphics looked like GT5, although these don’t look like in game shots :(

    • I wouldn’t say that good, personally. That reminds me though, wasn’t GT5 supposed to have bikes?

      • I don’t think it was supposed to have them, but Kaz mentioned that the game engine GT5 uses supports them.

  2. I have always liked the idea of games like this, but when playing, the games get old fast.

  3. some of the shots look ok but then other look like the old sbk games so im not so sure on this one

  4. The racing in SBK (especially in the last one, SBK X) has always been extremely solid, but the presentation and interface around that was appalling and frustrating. If the promise of “the interface has also been revamped and should be more user friendly” then this should easily lift the series above the 6 or 7/10 scores and into 8/10 territory

    • The racing in the games I’ve had by Black Bean have always been good but all have been let down by the user interface.

      • Hopefully we’ll get a chance to see how the menus look. They specifically mention that they’ve been improved. We’ll see.

      • Yes, always good on the track, let down off the track!

  5. The screen shots look pretty good actually. I’ll wait and see what reviews say.

  6. Haha, they are still working on a patch (or are they?) to fix SBK X, because no one could complete that game to 100%. I wonder if this version will be broken also…it’s a real shame beause the SBK series is easily the best of that genre but there is no after support at all.

  7. Really liked SBK-X on the PC – it didn’t get released in the US until the early Decemeber and I picked it up in a sale for $8 less than two weeks later. Score.
