Focusing on two of any detective’s essential skills – investigation and interrogation – Rockstar have sent over a new video showcasing L.A. Noire’s immersive and hyper-realistic world.
Watch as men in big hats and silly suits look for telltale facial cues and other revealing details when questioning suspects and witnesses, while also getting an insight into how the probing of crime scenes within the game will be presented.
The new footage (embedded below) is comprised entirely of in-game footage.

Once again the facial animation is startlingly authenthic but the actual graphics and the other animation breaks the spell a little for me. Still, aside from the dependancy on reading peoples faces for clues this game isn’t necessary all about it’s looks, the gameplay and real-life subject matter look to be quite absorbing and i reckon i’m sold on it.

This maybe nit picking but does the sound of everyone’s seem strange as if they are talking in a studio even when their location in certain scenes are outside on the street. It’s a little off putting for me.

That’s because they are, and have been in every game released. The overall sound effects may not have been dubbed in yet though.
