Rumour: Kojima Announcing Two Games at E3

PSM3 Magazine are running with a rumour about what Metal Gear maven Hideo Kojima has planned for E3 in June. Known for his many cybernetic fingers in many futuristic pies, speculation is mounting that Kojima-san will make two announcements at this year’s E3 event. From the magazine:

MGS maestro Hideo Kojima’s got some big announcements for E3 in June: one a quasi-logical step for an existing game, the other… well, we’d be shocked if MGS5 wasn’t on the table at some stage. Or under it. In a box.

Quasi-logical step suggests a revamped Metal Gear Solid 4 (whether or not it will grace the Xbox 360 remains to be seen). Will MGS5 be the other announcement? Who knows. Surely at some point the man will get to make something else other than yet another Metal Gear game. Whatever it is, we find out in a few months.

  1. A quick search on here of Kojima brings up his “Devil” project, and adventure game and a “confidential” project (could well be the Devil one again) so I would expect at least one of these to be new IP.

I do hope they bring a version of Peace Walker to the home consoles though, as long as it has been made for them i.e. graphics updated. An MGS5 would suit me just fine too!

  2. A new Policenauts when you’re ready please, Hideo.

  3. Metal Gear Solid HD Trilogy.

    Metal Gear Solid 5.

    Zone of Enders HD.

    Kojima is the gaming god!
