Behind all the marketing bluster about EA publishing a CoD-beater there is something about Battlefield which is, well, amazing.
Base-jumping, Jets, gorgeous lighting, smoke and dust that is unbelievably good. Falling buildings. Battlefield 3 looks like a world beater.

I’ve been pretty on/off with the series since I originally picked up BF2 for the PC. Really couldn’t get into it, mainly due to the scale, but Bad Company had me hooked for hours on end. BC2 wasn’t so great in my opinion and despite being hugely disappointed by Medal of Honor’s online component, I’m happy to throw myself behind this.

I love Battlefield and will definatley buy this to play with mates, but I have to say I am more excited about Brink right now. If any game is going to get the FPS genre out of the Call of Duty rut it is currently in, something ambitious like that is going to do the job.

Looks amazing, sadly the PS3 version will look nothing like this, and even most PC gamers won’t experience it like that.

Major love for the Battlefield 3 logo splash. That moment alone is beautiful, regardless of how amazing the game itself looks.

Keep an eye out for a 12 minute trailer and a 12 minute producer interview this weekend (hopefully) http://www.facebook.com/battlefield?sk=app_205494772808486
When this link hit’s 1 mill, they unlock the two new trailers.

It’s amazing yes, but I’m almost certain that’s just a rehashed video of all the footage from the FaultLine trailers. Nothing new there.
