Assassin’s Creed: Revelations Gets New Info

The Assassin’s Creed series grew from impressive beginnings with Altair into the brilliance that was Brotherhood. While many were hoping for a bona fide ACIII to be the next release in the franchise from Ubisoft, we’re happy to get our hands on anything at all set in the wonderfully thrilling world of assassinations, corruption and conspiracy.

So, it’s with some excitement that we got some new info through from Ubisoft concerning Revelations. Ezio is confirmed, as is Altair and a visit to Constantinople. The return of the popular multiplayer mode is assured and we’re promised some expansions to that.

We’re also told that there will be plenty of new characters to engage with, including a love interest for Ezio and the Prince Suleiman. There are bound to be plenty more announcements and details in the coming weeks and months as Ubisoft ramp up their promotion of the game.

In addition to a raft of new details, there’s a teaser trailer and a big lovely gallery of concept images. Enjoy!

  1. Will be awesome if you can zipline like in the concept image :)

    • You can, it’s the new hook-blade. You can also use it to kill, quite gruesomely I expect.

    • That’s a screenshot. Motion blur makes it look a bit like concept art.

  2. I love music in the Teaser, and the 2,5,6 pictures are amazing. Can’t wait for this, I really want to know what’s happened to Desmond following ACB’s ending!

    • same here, really looking forward to see how the story unfolds

  3. AC always draws me in, cant wait, that ship scene looks amazing

  4. If it is as much as an improvement as AC:B was over AC2 (which was already a huge improvement over AC1), then this is going to be something very special indeed.

  5. I got AC 1 christmas after it came out so that was nice and quick, felt ever so dissapointed by it in the end by the gameplay but none the less I did end up getting the second version a couple of months after it had come out. To my dissapointment, brotherhood came out and I’ve yet to get that but only because of my hope that another AC game would get announced and brotherhood would therefore lower the price. Its my hope that this time next year they will announce AC3 and then by which point I will be just starting to play revelations… LOOKS AMAZING! Turkey looks incredible in those pictures!

    • One of my teachers is called Peter Rushton. Just thought you’d like to know

  6. Was going to be strong and not pre-order it, lets say ive just gave in.

  7. This looks AMAZING and I have just noticed Peter Rushton’s capitalized the same thing :p

Seriously this is a cool game. I hope they make the multiplayer much more able to get on to and play. I love the story and really want to find out more this Winter :)

    • Great minds think alike! haha
I hope the multiplayer is better then ACB, heard that was troublesome a bit.

  8. Loved 2 got bored with brotherhood. Hope this rocks.

  9. Sweeeeet!

  10. This looks amazing. I love the series and the concept behind it but after playing through the first game I got bored quite fast with the second game…
