It has been one year since LIMBO launched. A whole year and lots of us still don’t own it. Us Xbox owners have no excuse and soon PS3 owners won’t have an excuse either.
Dino Patti, CEO of Playdead has announced that LIMBO will arrive on PSN in Europe on the 20th of July, the day before in America. No date has been announced for Japan/Asia as of yet. It’s good to have a confirmed release date, I’ve already got the money in my PSN wallet.
The soundtrack will also become available on iTunes on the 11th of July (next Monday), so the soundtrack lovers amongst us can download that too. Patti also teased that “we hope everyone will enjoy the game and the little extra secret we have in store for you…”, I wonder what that could be? Exclusive PS3 content, perhaps?
There’s also a launch trailer, shown below. I can’t wait.
