First Pictures Of Battlefield 3’s Battlelog

The first pictures of Battlefield 3’s innovative Battlelog system have surfaced.  The images were apparently shown on the official (German) Battlefield 3 site but the post has since been removed.

Thankfully, they were picked up by BattlefieldO, and they look great.

For die-hard fans, this sort of supplementary service is most welcome, and there’s evidence that Battlelog will let you track things like your kill / death ratio, your unlocks and your progress.

  1. Funny thing, I am a scorer for baseball games (stat keeping for every play of a game and then breaking it up into specific statistics afterwards) but I have no interest whatsoever in either sport or game statistics.

  2. I had NFS with AutoLog which really pushed the game to a new immersive level but, I think that BattleLog in BF3 will REALLY take off. For me, it’s much better than playing the game and then going off to the PC/tablet/mobile device to interact there, instead, we can interact right within the game, compare score and new unlocks, even bad mouth each other (my brother in law will get some grief!). Yup, very much looking forward to BF3.

  3. Looks alright, looks a bit like KZ2 stats. Its a very nice addition, and I’m glad I don’t have to pay extra for it.

    • Does look like KZ2 in a way, obviously accessible in game and via Killzone.com

Why or where would you have to pay for it?

  4. Bring on the beta :D
Resistance3, Gears3, Battlefield3 beta, Eurogamer expo weekend. Wow, September is going to be a busy month for gamers :D

  5. Look pretty simple and straight forward. Im not that into stats. I like to have a positive KDR but apart from that I couldnt really care
