The first pictures of Battlefield 3’s innovative Battlelog system have surfaced. The images were apparently shown on the official (German) Battlefield 3 site but the post has since been removed.
Thankfully, they were picked up by BattlefieldO, and they look great.
For die-hard fans, this sort of supplementary service is most welcome, and there’s evidence that Battlelog will let you track things like your kill / death ratio, your unlocks and your progress.

Have they just done a direct copy and paste of Facebook’s layout?
Death_In_Flamez
Agreed. But why try something original that can fail when choose something that works?

Actually looks quite good. I wish more games had a social networking aspect.

Amazing that Battlefield 3’s Battlelog images ‘leak’ and then are swiftly removed on the day that CoD Elite beta starts… who’s have thought.
Transparent PR is transparent!
Looks good though, will be interesting to see how it compares to Elite, which I’ve just a 30min developer preview of whcih is looking very impressive.

Intrigued by both, i love stats & comparisons. Be interesting to see the depth, both giants have to offer.

Can you also access this stuff from the game’s main menu or only via PC? Don’t think I’ll ever use it if it’s the latter.

Will be like Autolog on Shift2 I presume, accessible through both. If it is like Autolog though you have to wonder how useful it will be when just getting back in the action is invariably more fun than looking at a leaderboard which is built into most games anyway, like Killzone etc, in comparison to the whole new platform that is CoDElite

You forgot to remind people…it’s FREE!
Bilbo_bobbins
which is good, but it should be anyway.

Looks a lot like the online stats for killzone – but I like them :)
