Catherine Finds a PAL Publisher

In some rather excellent news, Deep Silver has entered into an agreement with Atlus to bring the highly anticipated Catherine to Europe.

Klemens Kundratitz, CEO of Deep Silver, had the following to say:

“We are very proud to be able to publish Catherine in all PAL territories as a Deep Silver game. Catherine is something new, fresh and exciting; unlike anything else in the gaming world – a unique mixture of genres. This agreement proves once again that games published under the Deep Silver label are not ‘more of the same’, ‘run of the mill’ productions.”

No release date as of yet, but the main thing is that it’s actually coming over!

  1. Awesome!

Can’t wait to play this, loved the demo.

Hopefully they bring over the Love is Over edition.

    • Because you like collecting special editions, or because you have plans for that pillow?

      • It’s got to be the pizza box, surely? I can very well imagine myself turning up at the pizzeria with my own box.

      • Come on, it’s clearly the polka-dotted underwear I want ;)

      • I dunno, that pizza box is tempting. I already have polka-dotted undies.

    • Ah, we were just speaking about this a couple of days ago and you mentioned that it didn’t have a distributor over here but I was reasoning that if it did/does even remotely well in the Americas then wanging it over to Blighty should be relatively easy. Yay!

      Let the goat-dreams commence!

  2. At least it isn’t South Peak, who published 3D Dot Game Heroes after Atlus – shockingly bad lack of support for it, especially by not even offering the 1.01 patch. I emailed them and tried to get a response on their forum, to the sound of a tumbleweed rolling by. I sold my copy and plan to get the US version at some stage.

  3. I absolutely love that this fantastic looking title will be published by a company with a CEO named Kundra-titz!
It’s a sure buy for me!

  4. Finally!

  5. That’s superb, although I’ll probably not be able to wait the while, need this asap.

  6. I’m so happy Norway pays no attention to whether a game is actually out in a PAL region or not. Catherine will be available in all the shops on 26th July and is available for pre-order countrywide.

  7. Awesome!!! The countdown begins!

  8. This is great news! Catherine looks mental, which is what I love about it.
