Lots of us at TSA are big racing fans. We loved Forza 3 (and still do), GT5 got a lot of praise and we’ve tried to support the community events that involve DiRT, F1 2010 and GT5.
Forza 3 has the best community features we’ve yet seen in a racing game but it’s getting on for two years old now and there’s a new Forza on the horizon. Forza 4 is sure to keep that customisation, multiplayer and auction house setup so we’re keeping our hopes up that we’ll be able to do something fun with the community after it launches.
Of course, there’s a while to wait for it just yet. Luckily, we’ve got some more screens from the official Xbox UK facebook page to gawp over. There’s a bit of a Top Gear Test Track focus on these and it’s safe to say that Forza 4 is looking incredible.

I spy a reasonably priced car (& some less reasonably priced ones).
That is the trick that GT5 missed out on.
Shame I don’t have an xbox.

If I didn’t already have a PS3 and GT5… I’d still go buy a PS3 and GT5. Don’t get me wrong, Forza looks tasty, but GT5 does too as well as driving much better than Forza 3.

I’d do the same. Forza 3 was fun but it can’t compare to gt5 for physics or enjoyment. And the lack of wheel support just ruins it.

I bought Forza 3 when released but haven’t played it since GT5.
Not going to bother with number 4.

There’s something about those pics that make the cars look plastic, like a Hot Wheels model. Something’s a little, off.
tonyyeb
You’re right Tom, think there is too much shine / reflection from the bodywork.
david24
there not looking anywhere near as nice as they’ve been in other screen shots shown
Jambo
Has always been the same with Forza, I think it is the lighting.

The Kia Cee-apostrophe-D! I want that in GT5! These pictures seem to have post processing shining them up. Probably from a picture or fancy-replay mode.
pantherjag
Yep looks lovely but not any better(or worse) than gt5 to be honest. Also have to remember that the still are probably from photo mode which enhances the quality
JaffaMan24
I have to agree. They really missed an opportunity with GT5 to capitalise on the Top Gear track. No reasonably car and not even a nod to power lap times. No doubt Forza will jump on this opportunity and run with it! Imagine if they had celeb or Stigg laps as ghost cars!? And now I want an xbox.

Stunning modelling on them all but it would be good to see some HighDef in-game action as this really tells you very little. Same went for GT.
DirtyHabit
Have to agree on the ‘plasticy’ comments. Still gonna get it tho.
Love to stick a bit of forza3 on for my racing fix. Love GT5 but I like to play with the wheel an all that, which is a bit of a faf so GT5 tends to be an all nighter, where as I can play Forza for an hour or so and move on.
Hamzz
Hmmmm The wheels don’t look to good, Needs some shading or something!

i prefer arcade-racers over simulation-racers, i don’t mean to be a critic, but i can’t be the only one?
bunimomike
If simulation-type racers still had the incredible feel of driving a car around a track I’d say there was nothing better (assuming you were hankering after that in the first place) but a brilliant arcade racer is still hard to beat. Hell, I’ve had insane fun with car physics that were straight from Potty-as-hell-land. It’s all about the game. There’s a great game on the PS1 called Rally Cross. The suspension on the off-roaders were akin to bedsprings but it didn’t stop it being great entertainment.
