Modern Warfare 3 continues its quest for global dominance with this trailer for the cooperative multiplayer mode. Spec Ops is a kind of two-man survival mode which pits you and your teammate against an enemy onslaught.

It’s looking good and in the lead up to the big showdown with EA and Dice’s Battlefield 3, you’d be foolish to bet against a series with this much brand recognition.

  1. [must not get taken by the urge] – FOr COD lovers, I’m sure this will be great. For Battlefield lovers, not so much. Looks very similar to the zombie mode actually so I’m guessing most will love it. Also noticed Juggernaut at the end? I’m hoping for COD players sake, that isn’t in.

    • Even Juggernauts cant withstand a grenade launcher! mwahahahaaha lol

    • I know developers can say what they want, but Robert Bowling has said they intend to make MW3 very balanced. Going on info so far i believe him. They’ve removed stopping power, one man army, commando and last stand. Who knows what other scrubby things they’ve removed or altered.

      I seriously can’t wait for MW3. The whole MW3 vs BF3 debate doesn’t phase me either, as i’ll be playing both, kinda like how i alternate between MW2 and BC2 now. Bring it on!!!

      • Basically i don’t think they’ll add juggernaught in competitive multiplayer.

      • Basically they removed everything that made it fun. Stopping Power I can live without provided guns kill as quick in MW2.

      • I don’t understand what the problem with SP was? It was in with other perks that didn’t make it an automatic first choice and by choosing it you’d miss out on some other top perk.

        So you liked being grenade launched from afar, having them change class, rinse repeat etc? They were easy to kill when you flanked them, but it happened too much. Commando was also BS, same with last stand.

        Also Johnny i was an avid stopping power user, but i’m not fussed about it’s removal in MW3. They’ve got rid of it, and upped all guns base damage, so all in all it puts everyone on the same field of play, thus more balance.

  2. The juggernaut “bwong” noise in MW2 is possibly the scariest thing I’ve ever witnessed in a game.

  3. The Juggernaut reference at the end of the video by the way was just him getting recognition for a 14 kill streak, i.e. a medal called Juggernaut.

    • Although it could be a killstreak reward, in which case that is bull.

  4. I watched this yesterday, and up until that point I didn’t really have much interest in this game… But now!! Whoa momma!! I will be gettting this, spec op’s in the last one was brilliant fun!

  5. To me the graphics look dated. I think Battlefield 3 is looking far superior and I’ll betting on that.

  7. I’m guessing the Split-screen is still annoyingly “splitted” leaving you with a tiny 1/4 of a screen to use…
