If Famitsu leaks are to be believed, Marvelous Entertainment is currently working on a sequel to Little King’s Story, exclusively for PlayStation Vita. The original game launched in 2009 for the Nintendo Wii, presenting an unconventional blend of RPG, building and simulation mechanics which went down well with the gaming press, Little King’s Story still maintaining an impressive Metacritic average of 87.
The Vita sequel will launch as “The King, The Demon King and the Seven Princesses: New King Story,” with Konami on publishing duty. Expect to hear more when the latest edition of Famitsu finally surfaces tomorrow.

I say that about nearly all the Vita games I see but with new ones being added to that list on an almost daily basis, my wallet won’t be able to keep up.

How many Vita titles are there already? And the thing ain’t even out for some months! Sony really aren’t making the same mistake Nintendo did with the 3DS, releasing the console and then let the good games follow up a few months later.
Never heard of this game, but that’s one impressive title.

Little King’s story is nearly the sole reason I still have a Wii; brilliant game. A sequel on the Vita would be welcomed.
