Looking to the future, theres a huge stack of games out in the next couple of months. What three games, shall we say, are you most looking forward to getting your hands on?
Well as soon as I can pay for it I’m gonna get myself Deus Ex: Human Revolution as I loved the first two. Most people don’t like the second one because it was a little too basic, which is why I’m glad I played that one first.
Second would have to be Uncharted 3. I’m going to complete the story mode which I have no doubt is gonna be amazing, then get right into the multiplayer which I will be playing for days at least.
Finally what I’m most looking forward to from 2012 would have to be the Street Fighter X Tekken crossover of two game series, which I really love in one package and is just gonna be amazing.
I’m most certainly looking forward to Uncharted 3. We had some good times in the Uncharted 2 clan, so I might have to revive that for 3…
I remember my first meet on TSA was an Uncharted 2 meet hosted by some guy called Teflon, whoever he is. I barely remember anything about it, just hearing all these people who already knew each other, me being a bit shy around then and not very talkative. The one thing I clearly remember is Yogdog randomly killing himself with a grenade as soon as he spawned for some reason I don’t know.
That sounds like Yogdog! I remember him being completely hopeless at Uncharted 2.Â
He usually complained about something he didn’t like about the game.
Yup, definitely Yogdog! What did you think of the Uncharted 3 beta?
The Uncharted 3 beta took what I loved about Uncharted 2 and made it better in every way I think. I loved being about to run around at super speed like a little child making a fast car noise.
[drop]I think some of the boosters might be a bit tacky, like the one that just warped you to a different part of the map, or the crazy spider thing. Aside from that, I just loved being able to chuck grenades from half way across the map, bounce it off a wall, and blow up some sniping douche, again. I love the grenades!
Yeah I remember Jørgen (Aquastyle) killing a lot of our team, including myself, with the cluster grenades.
Oh, I don’t remember that power… Memory like a sieve. I can’t wait to dive back into Uncharted now! How did you first stumble across the good ship TSA?
I honestly have no idea what so ever but all I can say is I’m very glad I did. News with personality. So really interesting opinion pieces. The best thing of all the community, from the great discussions in the comments section to the fun of meeting up online in a game with some of these nice people and having a gay old time.
Haha. You said ‘gay’! What do you think is your favourite front page feature on TSA?
I do quite like the Community Round-Ups, especially when the meets I host are mentioned. I think my favourite one would have to be Tweak-It. So many times I look at a game and see so many things that could be changed to make the overall experience better. If only game developers would listen. Thankfully some do.
The round-ups aren’t my department anymore, as I handed the task over to Gazza this week, but I’ll see what I can do. On the subject of meets, though, are there any TSA members you’d not be overly opposed to meeting in real life? Who have you associated with the most on TSA?
Well one guy I’ve chatted to for quite sometime would be Jørgen (Aquastyle) as we are always hanging out in the Uncharted 2 meets.
Shuffling along to the more real world, what do you do with yourself outside of gaming and incessantly refreshing TSA for your gaming news?
Not really much in I’m honest other the hanging out with some friends. Though I am looking forward to starting University this year at my old age.
Do you mind sharing what you’ll be studying? Also, you’re only just starting at 22?
I will be studying Computing at Southampton Solent University. I’m only just starting as I fucked up when I first went to college and didn’t pass. So I went back last September and started a course for old folks, well, for people 19 or older and now I’m all set for Uni.
I was going to ask about long term goals and aspirations, but it seems you’re going along nicely and succeeding in that regard.
Well we shall see about succeeding when I start Uni in a months time.
Are you all set with some witty comebacks for any “old guy” jokes you might encounter?
Well I could just hit them, but I hear universities are not a bit fan of that so I may have to scare them with just being a tall, large guy.
You should enrol whilst wearing a Wookie costume. No wait, that wouldn’t scare them, but you’d likely be an instant legend! It’s been an absolute pleasure talking to you today, but we’ve come to the end of the interview. Do you have any final words for the people that have made it this far?

Nice to meet you sir. I only ever rented UC2 so never got involved with the online but I am going to buy UC3 so I would be up for joining some meets on that when it arrives.
Porsche Challenge was probably the first game that got me into time trials. It was my mates game and he spent ages setting a time which I then beat after 2 laps. He then did over 100laps (the counter stopped at 99) trying to beat me but couldnt. He still hates me for that. :)

I forgot that you were still doing the UC2 meets. I would attend but for some reason UC2 now refuses to work with my controller during an online match.
I remeber when we all rode that tank. I think it was one of the last meets that Tef did. Tis was funny. :D

That is quite strange, your controller suddenly not being compatible with UC2… Never heard of that before, you sure it wasn’t just a one-time occurence?

It happened a lot during the UC3 Beta. It was unplayable for me. It kept happening at the UC2 meets. It is only UC that refuse to work with my controller online. :(

Nice to find out more about Bodachi. Will have to join you again soon in UC2. My internet is down currently so only have access to TSA through my phone, harsh times. Should be sorted by next weekend. Anyways just wanted to mention to The Lone Steven that one of my official pads also gets disconnected from my ps3. This only happens when playing UC online. I did find a solution though. Connecting the controller (wired old skool style) this alway stops me from being disconnected. Just wanted to share that as I’ve not found anyone else with this issue as well, until now.
