Never got into Oblivion that much, put it on super easy mode and only died once cause I fell off a cliff.. Is it really 5 years old though? Good price for what is there too.
MegaBonez
…So it’s the GOTY Edition with a bonus disc!
Peco
Daft innit?
MegaBonez
Very!

Stop it with all these Oblivion releases. Fix the bugs and release new games please.

I don’t care…it aint got trophies :(
Sympozium
Well your missing out, its a great game although it would seem better to just jump over to Skyrim..
kivi95
Would easly have bought it if it would have had trophies.
Sympozium
It wasn’t easy to buy a game without any worthless points and icons in previous generations, in fact playing PS2 or PSP games would seem that they’re empty? bah-rah opinions.
Trophies wouldn’t even add much to Oblivion there’s so much to do.
Jakster123x
Guessing you’re not a big fan of trophies, then?
MegaBonez
I agree. I am a gamer, I appreciate games. I don’t need a reward for my efforts, the enjoyment I get is enough, just like it was before trophies!
skibadee
you can still enjoy games with trophies the only reason I would have got this again would have been trophies add so much more to games imo & I started gaming 20 years ago.

No trophies and Oivlivion was a buggy piece of s*it. No patches ever released for the game either.
I got sick of the annoying bugs and gave up.
The Lone Steven
Oblivion wasn’t that buggy. (at least my copy isn’t) I have only had the game freeze on me once and i have owned it for years. Compared to Fallout 3, it is very reliable as the gamebryo engine is known for it’s bugs.
Sympozium
Yeah I played oblivion for months and no serious bugs or glitches? It wasn’t so frequent.
Awayze
I played it for a week and the game would freeze and other issues so I gave up the game.
Lack of support/patches makes Oblivion suck.

*Oblivion. iPhone typo.
Issue after issue and graphics sucked for a PS3 game tbh. Even COD 4 was better.

I got the vampire bug on my playthrough (no way to complete vampire cure quest). after reading that no fix was coming (being a vampire is bloody annoying!) I had to buy a copy of the game (non goty edition) to load my game and complete quest, then return it to carry on with my disc.
i can’t believe that publishers/developers think this workaround is acceptable on a bug they know exists!

So basically, all we get with the 5th edition is a making of DVD. Bit disappointing as you can get the GOTY edition very cheap nowadays. I would have thought a 5th anniverasy dvd would have been made and the history of TES included with some pardoies made by Bethesade. They could have had “outtakes” where the PC keeps messing up. They missed a very good opputunity. They could have included the plug ins from the xbox and pc versions of the game in this edition.
Actaully, why is there no soundtrack with this edition? If you want people to celebrate 5 years of Oblivion by buying this edition then go overboard.
Sympozium
Its a bit underwhelming they’ve simply re-leased the GOTY edition…. but more anyone that haven’t tried it would be great if you have the time..
C_S15
If it had trophies, I might be tempted to pick it up. But I’ll just stick to the GOTY edition on my laptop.
E8_BALL_
I only purposefully go after trophies, once ingame challenges are complete. Trophies in ES5 is a bonus, not essential.

I’ll wait for Skyrim. Money doesn’t grow on trees…my money at least.
