Ninja Theory have confirmed they will not work on an Enslaved sequel.
In an interview with Edge Magazine studio co founder, Tameem Antoniades said:
“Enslaved should have done better. Right now we should have been doing a sequel and perfecting that sequel and doing what franchises do, which is get better over time.”
Since its release last year, Enslaved struggled with sales even though it was received well by press and those who played it.
Even though it may not get a sequel now I’m still going to tell you lot to buy it because it is an excellent game.

Hated the feel of this game. Couldnt get on with it at all. Shame for those who did enjoy it though.

Aww shame :( But then this it felt spiritually close to Heavenly Sword its prrevious game. I’d happily take the same team doing a new story!

Shame that there will be no more Enslaved, I doubt whether there could have been a sequel but a prequel would have been good.

Wow, ok, sensing a little anger. Although, despite me saying that, if I’d made a predominantly well received game and it didn’t sell as well as it should of, i’d be a little upset, too.

As much as I loved Enslaved, and would have a loved a sequel, I can’t say I’m hardly surprised it didn’t get one.
