GT5 Spec 2.0 Update Coming Next Month

Hey GT5 fans, Kazunori Yamauchi has tweeted that the Spec 2.0 update will be released during the third week of October:

“GT fans, thanks for waiting… The GT5 Spec 2.0 update is coming the 3rd week of October, with DLC following a week later.”

A big update AND DLC? Take that, Forza 4! It’ll be interesting to see what will be made available, and if it will cost.

  1. Great! This will definately make me play the game again. Hoping for more cars and tracks (I’d like a mountain climb track) like everybody else. And the ability to select cars from your garage in split-screen arcade-mode, like you can online. And I’d like them to squeeze Porches out of EA’s hands, because RUF’s just aren’t the same.

    • Mark your cars as favourites… job done.

  2. Dammit! Why oh why did I have to leave my PS3 at home when I moved into uni?!
It’ll be interesting to see what exactly that entails. I bet some people will still complain. GT5 fanboys are the worst for complaining.

  3. WooHoo!!!

  4. 7 shades of awesome, hopefully its some new cars/tracks but also something unexpected would be cool. Oh and fix the connection issues in the online.

    • I hope that is in there Manor, online can be soooo frustrating. Excellent when it works but often it isn’t!

  5. Forza 4 already? ? ? LoL

  6. going to give this a lot more time soon.

  7. There are still some god-awful graphic glitches in this game — horrendous particle effects, broken self-shadowing… Seriously, what’s wrong with PD? Can’t believe they haven’t fixed them already.

  8. oooh a reason to put the disc in again. I havent given this game the time it deserves

  9. lets hope mid race saves are in. i’ll be gutted if they aren’t , i want to finish the endurance races.

  10. This game is seriously huge and is still being updated,Damn.
