The full list of 3DS GBA Ambassador games have been revealed via a message appearing on Japanese 3DS’. For those who have no idea what I’m on about, the Ambassador program is a whole bunch of free games for 3DS early adopters. The list is as follows:
- F-Zero: Maximum Velocity
- Super Mario Advance 3: Yoshi’s Island
- Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap
- Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones
- Kirby & The Amazing Mirror
- Mario Kart: Super Circuit
- Mario vs. Donkey Kong
- Metroid Fusion
- Wario Land 4
- WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgames
That’s many hours of gameplay there, for free. These games will be available in Japan from December 16th, so hopefully we won’t be far behind.
UPDATE: Those in Europe will also be getting these games this Friday. Stay tuned for a US announcement.

Wow, that is a superb list, Minish Cap – never played it the first time and I’m now done with Ocarina. Sod those games I asked santa for.
Sympozium
Can’t they just release them now for everyone? the more, the better… lack of games is what put me off the 3DS and on the fated E-Store.

Woo! Kirby and Zelda- only problem is, my son will be wanting to play on MY 3DS now instead of the one he’s getting for Christmas… Still- MORE FREE GAMES-YAY! (I probably still won’t finish Minish Cap tho…)

Fantastic stuff right there, I may never need to buy a handheld game ever again…

Does anyone think Nintendo might end up releasing these (or any other gba games) on the eshop for general release? (Rather than just early adopters)
Mike
Sweet, might finally get my 3DS out of my drawer again

Mario Kart 7 and Mario World didn’t encourage you to do this?! :O

I’d have liked Advance Wars but this is a great list. I wonder if I’ll actually play any of them though, didn’t really touch the NES ones I downloaded.
Dan Lee
That’s because, and no offence to Nintendo, the NES games aged terribly. These GBA games will have faired much better.
Jim Hargreaves
Well Wario and Fire Emblem at least.
Joe Dart
Agreed, I can’t really think of anything on that list that can’t still hold up strongly today, except maybe Super Circuit.

Yeah I really struggled to get on with zelda 1, despite the gold cartridge being the pride of my collection back in the days.

The only NES game I’ve put any meaningful time in to was Super MArio Bros. Haven’t really bothered with any of the others.
The list of GBA games looks fantastic though!

Have you played Fire Emblem? It is excellent and may help your Advance Wars dissapointment. I too would have loved Advance Wars..but am not complaining most of these games are classics.
Crocadillian
Apart from Mario vs. Donkey Kong, which i’ve never liked, HELL YEAH! The fact that this is all coming Friday too is fantastic. I heard that Wario Land 4 was an excellent, unique platformer so I am really happy that it turned up on this list.

Minish Cap! The Zelda game that I’ve never played but I’ve always wanted to :)

Minish Cap is my fave 2D Zelda, it’s brilliant.
The rest of the line-up is great. Would have swapped FE for Advance Wars, but still ace.
