GAME Console Sale Prices Outed?

So we know that both GAME and Gamestation have had a sale on preowned games this week, with some fantastic bargains to be picked up. Apparently preowned consoles will be going on sale tomorrow, according to a poster on HotUKDeals who had it confirmed by a local branch.

Here are the prices being mentioned:

PSP:

  • BASE MODEL: £29.99
  • 2000: £39.99
  • PSP GO AND 3000: £49.99

WII:

  • WHITE: £39.99
  • BLACK: £49.99
  • BLUE WITH LONDON MARIO OLYMPICS: £59.99
  • RED LIMITED EDITION MARIO: £59.99

PS3:

  • 40GB, 80GB AND 60GB: £99.99
  • 120GB AND 160GB: £129.99
  • 250GB AND 320GB: £149.99

XBOX 360:

  • 20GB AND 60GB; £69.99
  • 250GB SLIM: £129.99

NINTENDO DS:

  • ORIGINAL: £19.99

Apparently the DS Lites and DSis are also reduced but the poster cannot remember the prices. If these prices are indeed correct then I can wholeheartedly recommend buying a Wii at £39.99, if only to sample the amazing Zelda, Xenoblade Chronicles and The Last Story.

  1. Xbox for downstairs i fancy. Will pop in tomorrow n maybe even a psp at that price! Not sure why as just bought a vita but i looooove a bargain.

  2. So bloody tempting to go for a PSP 3000, if only I had the money spare atm! :(

  3. I can 100% confirm the pre-owned PS3 prices, as I was in GameStation in Liverpool One today with a friend as we were having a look at their sale, however I cannot 100% confirm the pre-owned prices of the rest of the consoles as we were not looking at any of those in detail as we both own a PS3.

It appears to be that GameStation’s and Game’s sales are mainly the same prices, but it is definitely worth looking in ALL of the stores within a reasonable distance as they will have different stock levels with certain games in-stock and certain games out of stock, due to the fact that it is mainly a pre-owned sale with a small amount of new games also reduced in price.

  4. I can also confirm that HMV have INCREASED the price of the PlayStation Vita!!! They were re-pricing a fair few products and putting out Mass Effect 3 in the HMV Liverpool One store while I was there very recently (less than an hour ago).

It was previously £229 for the wi-fi model of the PS Vita with Uncharted: Golden Abyss or FIFA Football, whereas NOW it is currently increased in price to £259.99 for the wi-fi model of the PS Vita, a 4GB memory card and FIFA Football or Virtua Tennis 4: World Tour Edition!

That’s right! Not only have they added a 4GB memory card for an extra £30, when you can get an 8GB memory card for a few pounds cheaper, but they have also removed Uncharted: Golden Abyss from the bundle! I guess my PS Vita for my Birthday is looking a little less likely!!! :O

    • Whoa.. can you try other places?

  5. Really tempted with the slim Xbox for that money. My son’s turning into a proper gamer and has been asking for an Xbox for his birthday.

  6. going to get a back up PS3 not that one has ever broken on me better safe than sorry.

  7. Some great prices there.
