Codemasters have announced that F1 2012 will launch in September this year for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, and to celebrate they’ve released a new video.
The video shows Creative Director Stephen Hood meeting the next generation of drivers and asking whether Codemasters’ earlier F1 games have been of benefit to them in their career.
Sam Bird, currently testing for Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team, says, “I think Codemasters have done a super job of giving regular people a proper insight into what a FORMULA ONE car is like.”
Accordingly, F1 2012 will introduce a “Young Driver Test mode” which will act as a series of tutorials.

I’ve been a bit disillusioned with Codies efforts. They need to improve vastly this year or I won’t be buying.

i’ll buy it, just because it’s F1, and hopefully it’ll receive the same support from the community too, but it needs to up its game from last year, some disappointing issues.
Also, what was Sam Bird wearing? A tucked in shirt and jeans combo my dad usually pulls off!

if they can’t get a solid framerate on ps3 i hope the graphics will take a hit to fix that rather then make it look the same as xbox but run like shit. either way i’ll be getting this on pc and only playing the ps3 version for tsa races.

I will annoyingly get it regardless but dependant on the FPS will see if I get it straight away or in the bargain bin
