One of the more bizarre and intriguing release of March will launch next Tuesday on the 27th via Steam and other online distributors. Gettysburg: Armoured Warfare is situated during the American Civil War though there’s a noticeable twist; a mad scientist has warped back to this era from the future, bestowing Union and Confederate troops with an arsenal of futuristic weaponry stripped from 2060.
The game itself will combine RTS and TPS elements, allowing players to command their units from a top down perspective, also being able to assume control over individual troops and play the game as if it were a regular online shooter.
Expect to grab a copy at around £8. Hopefully we’ll have a review for you guys in the coming weeks.

I’m a sucker for third person shooters and the strategy element is enough to draw me in.

ive been saving for a year for a new rig so i can get the best out of modern games that support things like Tesselation etc (not that Gettysburg takes advantage i think, ill do some google later), got just enough for a i7 powered machine with the GTX 680, that cards so damn deadly its capable of running four monitors on its own :D
