In an exclusive interview with MMORPG, BioWare Mythic announced an all-new game mode for the superb Warhammer Online: Wrath of Heroes. Titled “Pyramid of Settra” the new scenario pits three teams against each other as they attempt to collect relics from the centre of the map and return them to base. The more relics your team has in their collection, the more your point score will start to build. Here’s an official video:
According to the interview, Pyramid of Settra marks the beginning of WoH’s Tomb King summer event. For those who don’t happen to be Warhammer nerds, the Tomb Kings are essentially an undead army situated within the world’s vast deserts, drawing a number of inspirations from Egyptian mythology.
From May 30th, players will be able to access the new scenario as well as Amenadresh the Steward. Hopefully additional Tomb King heroes will be released over the course of the event. Skeletal archers, Spearmen, Tomb Guards, and even the mighty Bone Giant would all be welcome additions to the game’s diverse cast of characters.
