Timed exclusive DLC is an annoyance when your platform of choice does not have the exclusive deal but we are stuck with it as long as the video game business is about making money. Â Skyrim’s Dawnguard DLC has the backing of Microsoft’s money so it will be seen on the Xbox 360 first.
The first suggestion of when it might arrive there has now appeared with Joystiq reporting that Bethesda’s Todd Howard has told then that “Tentatively, it’s coming on June 26”. Â PC and PS3 players will have to wait another month to get their hands on the vampire-laden download.
Seemingly learning from previous DLC experience, particularly with their Fallout games, Bethesda are running a beta for Dawnguard on the 360, which you can sign up for here. Â There is no word on whether they will be running similar beta programs for the PC and PS3.
Regardless of your Skyrim-playing platform you could always spend some of your time between now and the DLC’s release watching the trailer again.

I’ve yet to complete the main quest so i’m not bothered by the timed exclusive although it does seem that bethesda has taken a dump on their PC fanbase as they pretty much helped Beth to become the company that they are today.
Not sure if i will get it when it is released on PS3 as i’m debating if i should wait for a Bug Of The Year Edition for Lagrim the Crashy scrolls or buy each DLC seperate and only download it once. Looks good and i’m glad that Vampires are getting improved as apparently, they are weaker then the Twilight ones. I apologise for bringing Twilight into this.
