New Shiny White PS3 Priced and Dated

Sure, you might all be gawping at pictures of a massive 3DS this morning but I’m coveting a different kind of hardware refresh. The white PS3 will arrive in the UK on June 29th, apparently.

It’s going to cost £239.99, comes with a 320GB hard disk and two DualShock controllers. There’s also a pack-in for 90 days of PlayStation Plus, with all those free games.

It seems as though Game might have landed exclusive rights to sell the console in the UK and it can currently be pre-ordered in their site.

If I wasn’t very happy with my existing black slim model, I think I’d seriously consider this white version. I’d be very tempted to attack it with a black sharpie though, that expanse of white is crying out for some graffiti.

        my furniture is mostly black but me and my brother is gaming in a room full of Arsenal stuff… scarves, tablets, calendars and Arsenal games recorded on VHS!

  5. Hmm. Is it wise to buy a white PS3 even though I have a perfectly good black one? The only real excuse I can find to explain such a purcase is the Hard Drive. My current ps3 is only 120 gb. Would save me buying a new HD – and it comes with PS + for 3 months. Hmm. I think i’m trying to convince myself more than anything.

    • I managed to buy the silver version 320gb from GAME brand new for £150 and sold my black 250gb for £120 and got an extra controller and bigger HDD in the process which was a no brainer. The difference between the selling value of yours and the price of this may be a little steep.

      • How did you get it for £150, everytime I check and it’s at that price, it’s always out of stock :S
