Sure, you might all be gawping at pictures of a massive 3DS this morning but I’m coveting a different kind of hardware refresh. The white PS3 will arrive in the UK on June 29th, apparently.
It’s going to cost £239.99, comes with a 320GB hard disk and two DualShock controllers. There’s also a pack-in for 90 days of PlayStation Plus, with all those free games.
It seems as though Game might have landed exclusive rights to sell the console in the UK and it can currently be pre-ordered in their site.
If I wasn’t very happy with my existing black slim model, I think I’d seriously consider this white version. I’d be very tempted to attack it with a black sharpie though, that expanse of white is crying out for some graffiti.

Remember when, about twenty years ago (not showing my age much) you used to buy brand new trainers and the first thing you wanted to do was scuff the life out of them so you didn’t look such a tool in bright trainers? Well seems the ‘kidz’ these days cannot get enough of bright shiny white and this is testament to that. Not for me as think my tv cabinet would look a bit silly considering everything else is black. The down-with-the-kidz-kids can have this thank you very much. Sony should concentrate on marketing the shizzle out of the vita not coming out with bizarre ps3 colours.
