Mythic Details Latest Wrath Of Heroes Update

Patch 0.23 is just a few hours away, but what does it have in store for fans of BioWare Mythic’s free-to-play slaughterfest?

First and foremost the developer has announced that, throughout the summer, new heroes will be launching on a more regular basis. Fans will only have to wait 2 weeks to get their hands on new combatants instead of three, today’s addition being Korith Bitterborn.

Hailing from the elite High Elf Shadow Warriors, Korith is the first physical/range character to enter Wrath of Heroes’ open beta phase. Many will remember him from previous versions, capable of dealing out punishing amounts of damage whilst skittering around his opponents.

0.23 will also introduce a leader-board system. As soon as the update goes live every existing player will start on equal pegging (this isn’t a level reset or anything) and are then able to compare futures statistics with friends and other players.

A preference system has also been added to the game. Users can now rank the four available scenarios which will directly alter matchmaking proficiency, a feature that some will have been holding out for. Finally, new players will receive a bundle of player quests to aid them through the first steps of WoH’s brutal PvP madness.
