Okay, I’m a little bit bored with this now. Hopefully there’ll be something more substantial to talk about from Rockstar and GTA V soon. For now, though, it’s another three images. This time, they depict leisure activities in the world.
There’s tennis, dirt biking and parachuting. Those all seem like potentially playable activities in a GTA game and the images, presumably pulled from a dev PC, look suitably gorgeous.

I would prefer to see some actual gameplay images but it is good to know that there will be some fun activities that won’t make you want to kill a certain someone due to their habit of phoning every 5 minutes. Suspect tis from the PC version as i think they are still coding the game and probably prefer to release a few screenshots as they go along. As for the grahics. It looks stunning. I just hope they have remebered that GTA is about messing around outside of missions instead of babysitting all of the time.

Looking forward to take one of those sanchez’es (?) on a home invasion, terrorizing the rich people on their tennis courts! Stealing their ball and driving away on their lawnmower! Mwahaha!

Don’t know why everybody claims to know these are definitely PC screens. When you actually look at the full size images from the Rockstar website, the graphics aren’t really beyond anything we’ve seen before on the PS3/360. It’s completely possible that these are console screens. I’m sure people would have said the same thing when we first saw gameplay footage of Killzone 2 all them years ago. It didn’t look possible. I’d put money on it that these are probably taken straight from their initial development on the PS3.

Also, anyone that puts the quality of the graphics in the game first and foremost and above anything else doesn’t really want to be doing what it’s designed for….playing the game.
The graphics will not be shit on the PS3 version, whichever screenshots we are seeing at the moment. But my first impressions after the games release will be based on gameplay, the graphical quality will be an afterthought! ;)

I completely agree. Besides, the graphics on GTA4 weren’t mind blowing, but because of the amount of detail Rockstar North went into on every inch of the map, it made it far more beautiful than a lot of games out there. These screenshots DO look incredible, not the best graphics we’ve seen, but the art direction and general feel to them glows with beauty. I can’t wait to play it.
